Synopsis
It's a peaceful day at the local poultry farm until Foxy Loxy happens along intent on a chicken dinner. He takes the advice of a book on psychology by striking "the least intelligent" first and convinces dim witted Chicken Little the sky is falling. Chicken Little spreads the word but when head man co*cky Locky proves the story to be false, Foxy Loxy spreads rumors that co*cky Locky isn't the smart chicken he appears to be, which leads to the ultimate undoing of the chickens at the hands of Foxy Loxy.

A WWII propaganda short that serves as a cautionary tale about how through persuasion and manipulation, people can be tricked into hanging themselves. A message which holds up surprisingly well.

Review by Jason the Feature Creature ★★★★
Disney does the story of Chicken Little justice and then some. This short takes some twists and turns that Disney rarely dares to take these days. The animation is an excellent effort by half of the nine old men, even though there was significantly less money coming into the studio, other than the subsidies granted to Walt by Uncle Sam.
This was made as an anti-Nazi propaganda film to display the evils of mass hysteria. Walt Disney had the book featured in this short, which is read by the Fox, changed from Mein Kampf after the end of WWII.

HOLY f*ck CHICKEN LITTLE WAS A REMAKE ?!!
Okay, so a little why this is such a big deal for me. Long time ago when I was a kid I adored the sh*t out of chicken little (2005) and then one day I rewatched it and it was very bad, but I still gave it a 3. Present day, i meme the f*ck out of that film calling it the best film ever etc.
I now type up that wonderful title and I come across a 1943 film with the same title, I begin to read it and then came across the line “the sky is falling” I freaked! I had to watch it, jumped on vc with a few… -

morreu o prefeito
morreu as galinha fofoqueira
morreu os pato maconheiro
morreu o pintinhomorreu absolutamente TODO MUNDO
TODO MUNDO MORREUtodas as aves desse filme MORRERAM
