'All Terrain Protection' - the concept/title for this unique helmet design – was born from spending countless days/weeks/months on the road solo, or with the Malle community and responding to the vast range of demands the road, the journey and the rider experience and the creation of an ultra safe, lightweight and customisable helmet that sits comfortably and performs incredibly in each environment.

Malle luggage, accessories and apparel are built to last. Our durable natural fabrics, heavy duty stitching, waterproof membranes, impact protection, solid welded-brass hardware and bridle leather will age extremely well, developing a unique patina and bare the wear and tear of an adventurous life.
WAXED CANVAS
Darker colour natural waxed cotton fabrics can fade if left in direct sun light for very long periods of time, this is a part of the ageing process and is something to be cherished. The natural wax in the cotton canvas protects the fabrics from dirt, water and sunlight, so please make sure your Malle is kept in good condition, for a longer and happier life.
LEATHER
To help you keep your bag in perfect condition – please look after the leather. To maintain waterproofing and a soft feel and bright look, use a high quality leather conditioner, we recommend NikWax and natural beeswax leather conditioners.
SILK
The high quality 14mm natural silk we use for Malle riding scarves etc. should be washed by hand, occasionally.
MERINO WOOL, ALPACA AND NATURAL COTTONS
Merino Wool is a real super-fabric for adventure. The shape of the thread has a ‘crimp’ that traps air in pockets in the fibre, creating greater insulation against the elements, which also makes it supremely soft and comfortable. Merino Wool is great for regulating body temperature, because of its breathability. It is also moisture wicking and can absorb 30% of its weight in moisture, drawing perspiration away from the skin, whilst still maintaining it’s ability to insulate. Better yet, it naturally resists bacteria and prevents odor retention. It’s an easy fabric to wash and look after and holds it’s shape really well. Pease see the care instructions on each garment, as a general guide all Merino Wool garments should be washed cold by hand and dried flat.

Aesthetically and structurally more advanced, carbon fiber helmets are more durable, crash-resistant and lightweight. So are they worth it? If you have the budget and you're serious about racing, then yes.
It is strong — The atoms in carbon fiber are aligned in such a way that they provide immense strength across a small surface area of material. Since the primary role of the helmet is to protect the skull from impact, it's beneficial to use a material with such high strength.
Our helmets are tested in wind tunnels, and are produced to be as quiet as possible. The helmet must fits tightly and also fit as closely as possible to the neck. NEXX Helmets cannot consider subjective noise-related situations, as being defects covered by the warranty.
In order to ensure the safety of our costumers all NEXX helmets are submitted to rigorous tests fulfilling the European quality standards (ECE 22-05), certified by the most respected laboratory (IBSR, Belgium) ; They are also DOT and NBR-7471:2001 hom*ologated.
Apart from the fact that these helmets are lighter, they are also safer and age less quickly. A polycarbonate helmet can have a lifespan of 3 to 5 years with intensive use, whereas a helmet made from carbon fiber or glass fiber can last up to 7 years!
Carbon fibre is lighter and stronger than GRP helmets, which use strands of glass, but are more expensive to produce so are more expensive. It's only the cost of carbon fibre which is the obvious downside.

Plus, many offer advanced features such as an internal sun visor that the rider can flip down in the glaring sun.
Carbon fiber motorcycle helmets also offer an added level of noise protection, which is a huge advantage for reducing the amount of wind noise you experience.
The biggest advantage of carbon fiber hard hats is that they are long-lasting, lightweight (check out this article discussing Are Carbon Fiber Hard Hats Lighter), and very impact resistant. The material is lightweight for how strong it is compared to metal hard hats of the same strength.
Fiberglass is a strong and tested material that can provide effective protection. However, compared to carbon fiber it is more brittle and tends to dissipate the impact energy through disintegration. In most cases this is not a problem; The helmet absorbs impact and the pilot is safe.
