Went to feeder supply to get rabies Shots. Dr. Clay was rude. She decides that our adult female shepherd needed a exam. We said we just wanted the shot. She starts doing the exam. All of a sudden she blurts out your dog has cancer. She needs surgery. Then finally gives her the shot. Charges us $10 and it’s only good for 1 year. We took our other dog to PetSmart the shot was $15 and good for 3 years. Honestly feels like she’s just trying to get more money. Won’t use her ever again Read Less

I have never been disappointed with the quality of care from this vet. Their cafeful, conservative approach to animal care is refreshing. When another vet recommend $1800 in surgery plus in office PT we came here for a second opinion. Dr John recommend more diagnostics to make sure of what we were dealing with. (The other vet did only a manual exam and nothing more.) Based on the results Dr John recommend cage rest and restricted activity. Today out dog is doing great! The office isn't as pretty as more expensive vets, but the quality of care is what matters. If you want a knowledgeable, reliable vet clinic this is the place for you and your pet. Read Less

My son took my two yorkies to this clinic for their annual shots and asked that they be given the same shots as last showing on their records. But after they looked up their chart they told him they needed additionals shots and charge me $173.00 for shots that I did not ask for nor was it beneficial to my ten year old yorkie who is very sick with diabetes and on medication. Within an hour he started shaking, running a fever, and throwing up because of this clinic trying to pad the vet bill even at the risk of my dogs health. Very unethical. I would not risk your dogs health going to this place. Read Less

The vets are great and the prices can't be beat.. BUT the receptionist either needs help or to be replaced. She rarely answers sounding composed and able to assist you at that moment. Hold times last 3-5 minutes if you're lucky to not have to call several times. Makes it hard to keep returning to Dr. John's for my dogs needs.Read Less

The vets and the vet techs are really nice and compassionate, but whoever answers the phone is rude is hell. I called to today for an appointment and she asks can I please hold but before I could respond she put me on hold anyway. Why ask if I can hold when she didn't wait for an answer? Then I feel like she purposely says there's no openings. A few months ago when she said there were no openings I brought my dog in anyway for a spider bite that my dog had a bad reaction to, the vet tech brought her back and the vet went ahead and cleaned her up and got us out in 15 minutes. So they need to replace that receptionist. Read Less

Dr. John dedicates much of his life to his customers, managing his clinic as well as nightly visits to Feeders Supply. We've been able to get quick appointments for illnesses as well as regular services (shots, surgeries, etc.). His staff has been empathetic when I needed it most, letting me sit in a quiet room after learning my 13-yr old cat and friend was severely sick. We've also used them for puppy & dog heartworm tests and rabies vaccinations. Check out their website for his rotating schedule at Feeders. If you go, make a point to arrive early. Several people do to get on the list and on a busy night, arriving too late may mean missing a spot for that evening. If you have anxious pets, especially cats, bring a carrier for the wait. After going to a local vet for a few months, a friend of mine told me about Dr. John. I took our puppy to his clinic at Feeder Supply for his shots and heart worm pill. I would like to apologize to you Dr.John and your Great team you have..I can never say Thank you for the excellent care that you and your great staff show my 4 precious babies. .My husband and I stopped by Feeders supply on a Friday night to get our babies some treats and we heard all the babies barking so we walked back there and to our surprise there you are with your beautiful smile and your great team we were in heaven. .You and your team are so good to my babies and even Big Red love's to come see you guy's because I must apologize you have one young man I can not remember his name but Red loves him because he makes Red feel so Special because he says there's Big Red and it makes reds day.when we actually pull up to your office they all are so excited to see all of you it is amazing because the last veterinary we had they would cry and put tails between their legs and I will never forget the day Eddie and I seen why they are like that the veterinary we had then actually hit poor red on his head and my husband and I told him that perhaps he needs to find a different job and we will never bring our babies to you again.When we got home the owner called us and made excuses for the man doing that and my husband hung up on him...We are so Grateful for the Excellent care you and your staff show our babies. I took all four of my dogs there in March for annual exam. I have one older dog on Predisone 5 mg. He refilled the prescription by justing putting it in Dr. Wiggins old bottle I carried in. He told me "if you need more just call". I called 3 days ago and spoke with Monica, she was extremely rude and told me she would ask him when she sees him and get back with me. This was all after I had to get firm with her on the phone because she did not feel like helping me at all. Well, 3 days later no call no message. I called back she answered the phone and then preceded to tell me she does not know what I'm talking about and I did not talk to her. I wrote her name down three days ago. She put me on hold and said she would ask Dr. John. He said I have got to come back in and get the dogs checked. I have 5 more months until their yearly exam is due on my pets. I don't know about everyone else, but I cant afford to take my animals to the vet every few months for nothing. I have never had this issue before with any vet. But this really concerns me because Dr. John specifically said if you need more predisone just call to get it refilled. What a lie! If you want good service and the truth regarding your pets and not to be robbed blind from a greedy vet practice go elsewhere. Really a shame, especially in this economy. Typical bate and switch. They also run a quick clinic one night a week where you can take your pet for shots, nail trim or whatever. There is nothing but good to say about Dr. John. He and his staff are very caring and know how to build rapport with animals. He is extremely knowledgable. His prices are beyond reasonable. The clinics at Feeders Supply stores can be somewhat chaotic - you may have to wait in line - but if you just need to get your pet vaccinated it is worth it. They will still get a good checkup by a highly qualified vet. And if you need care for a sick or injured animal there is no better place to go. Read Less
